Queensland Academies Health Sciences Campus is located on the beautiful Gold Coast, Australia.

We offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme — an internationally recognised pre-university level qualification.

We aim to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

Our graduating students can study at Australian tertiary institutes and overseas universities.

Working in partnership with Griffith University, we provide unique opportunities and enrichment for students who are interested in careers in health sciences, research, science and academia.

We focus on local and global perspectives to broaden your view of your place in the world.

Special programs

Extracurricular activities

  • Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) is a fundamental part of our Diploma Programme experience. Through our CAS requirement we take seriously the importance of life outside school, providing a refreshing counterbalance to the academic self-absorption some may feel within our demanding Academy environment. Through these activities you will develop greater awareness of yourself, concern for others, engagement with the world of ideas and the ability to work cooperatively with other people

  • 500-seat lecture theatre – designed to university standard
  • Research laboratories – these large individual research laboratories are university standard. Access to individual and small group research rooms is controlled by access cards for students or small teams who are working on specific research projects
  • Exercise centre – a full multipurpose court for basketball, volleyball, and badminton, as well as a gym, Kinesiology laboratory, classrooms and student showers

Homestay and accommodation

By living with an Australian host family international students become part of the local community and have a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a safe and caring home environment.

Students have their own bedroom with study facilities, three meals a day, and access to transport to and from school, and to school activities.

Holiday adventure programs

Holiday adventure programs are an exciting and safe way for students to travel and sightsee during school holidays.

All holiday adventures are fully guided and escorted by qualified teachers and staff to ensure student safety.
